Lowcountry: The Natural Landscape

Published 1988
$49.95 (Hardcover)

This is the first exhibit-format volume to celebrate the essence of wilderness embodied in the rivers, forests, swamps, marshes and barrier islands of South Carolina. The photographs of Tom Blagden, Jr., whether of a bird in flight or of calm reflection, convey a resonance of life, a dynamic sense of place unique to this particular world. Richly informative text explores the impact of both human exploitation and natural forces. Let the Lowcountry seep into your bloodstream and bond you to the land and its waters.
